How we test. we create a player account ourselves, start with a deposit of our own money, request payout and record the turnaround. The licence check happens at the source, not at the operator and recalculate the wagering requirement ourselves. What we could not verify does not appear.
We are paid through affiliate links; the verdict stays the same, commission or not. An operator without a Belgian licence is described as such, commission or not.
Limits, age and EPIS
The rules on player protection here run more tightly than the Netherlands or France and it is built that way on purpose. The standard limit runs to €200 per week per site. Lowering it is immediate, raising it needs a check and a waiting period.
Through EPIS the Gaming Commission runs centralised exclusion: the exclusion applies instantly across the whole licensed landscape. Registering costs nothing. Since 1 September 2024 the minimum age is 21 for casino, gaming hall and betting; scratch cards and Lotto stay at 18. The check is automatic.
